• Offers Windows familiarity and file
compatibility.
• Can operate in Windows or Palm OS-like format.
• Messaging program is compatible with Mail@UMD
in both POP and IMAP.
• Browses the web wirelessly.
Cons:
• Requires Outlook for synchronizing address books,
calendar, and e-mail.
• Will only synchronize POP or Exchange e-mail from the
Inbox. Does not seem to be able to synchronize the IMAP inbox.
Summary:
This device is recommended for the tech savvy and works well with the
University’s systems. While many may not want to spend $400 for a
PDA, the features of this device are worth the extra cost. This device offers wireless
synchronization to calendaring and e-mail. It also offers a
portable mp3 player.
