We continue to test applications and client connectivity in our development environment. Planet Technology is nearing the completion of writing code for automated account and security group provisioning. Once our testing is done, we will complete the build out of our production environment.
Our timeline is to complete our initial testing in the next two weeks and then start the migration of internal Office of Information Technology (OIT) servers and desktops during the middle Spring 2008 semester. The OIT migration will be used to work out any additional bugs in the migration and implementation process. Currently, we plan to open migrations to departments using Novell NetWare in June 2008. Departments presently running Active Directory and wish to migrate to OIT's environment will be invited during the Fall 2008 semester.
