On Sunday, June 8, 2008 between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., many OIT-supported
Web applications will be unavailable as we move Oracle databases from the
mainframe Linux server to a Sun server. We believe the Sun server will
provide a significantly more cost effective and secure environment for
these databases. The timeframe selected is outside of the normal operating
hours for most application systems affected, and OIT application managers
have also alerted the applicable central offices.
