On Sunday, August 10, 2008, there will be a change in service to the
Mail@umd e-mail system. The Mail@umd account storage servers will no longer
be directly accessible from connections outside of UMD. Instead, all
connections will need to use 'mail.umd.edu' as their settings for SMTP, IMAP,
POP, and Webmail service.
If you use poX.mail.umd.edu (where X can be a number from 0-6) to connect to
any Mail@umd server, please re-configure your mail client now to use
mail.umd.edu instead. If you have bookmarked poX.mail.umd.edu (where X can
be a number from 0-6), please bookmark your webmail client on the URL
'mail.umd.edu' instead. Thank you for your patience in this matter. If
