Closing Out a Laser Print Cost Recovery (LPCR) Print Account

If you are leaving the University, and wish to close your Print Account, use the refund command on bank.umd.edu.

  1. Visit the http://bank.umd.edu/ web site.
  2. Click on the Connect to the LPCR Teller link. You will see the login screen:

  3. Type your Print Account Login ID (often your Social Security Number) in the Print Account: box, and type your print account password in the Print Account Password: box. Then click the Submit button.

  4. Click on the Refund button to request a refund of money from your Print Account back into your Terrapin Express account. You will see the refund screen:

  5. Type the number of cents you'd like refunded in the Refund Amount: box. For example, if you have $2.40 in the print account, type 240 in the box. Also type your name and address in the appropriate boxes, and click Submit.

The money will be transferred back to the Terrapin Express account. Then, you can visit the Terrapin Express office or send them a letter to close your Terrapin Express account.
