Oracle Calendar (CorporateTime) Outage: January 12-13, 2007

The Office of Information Technology will be upgrading the Oracle Calendar Server on January 12-13, 2007. This upgrade will require a service outage, scheduled from 11 p.m. on January 12 until 8 a.m. on January 13, during which time you will not be able to access your calendar information.

After the upgrade, the Oracle Calendar Server will support the latest features in Oracle Calendar Clients including support for the newer Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs). Users of the upgraded Oracle Calendar Web Client will notice scheduler and search improvements as well as additional printer preferences, default selections, and more. Improvements and new feature support will be dependent on the Oracle Calendar desktop client that you use. Unfortunately, some older clients might not work with this new release. If you find this to be the case, please contact the OIT Help Desk for assistance on upgrading your client.

We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause you, but hope that the system improvements will contribute to your continued success.

Please contact the OIT Help Desk with any questions or concerns at 301.405.1500 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday during Winter Session.
