Adding a Daily Note to Your Agenda

CorporateTime uses the phrase daily note to indicate any item that should appear as a notice on a particular date on an agenda.

Adding a daily note to your own agenda

To add a daily note to your agenda, click on the daily note icon.

You will see the daily note definition window appear.

New Daily Note

Type the text of the note in the title field. Check the date field and, if the note pertains to another date, change it by either

  • highlighting the month, day and/or year and typing over them,
  • using the forward/backward control to the right of the date, or
  • clicking on the calendar icon and selecting the desired date from the appropriate month

Once the date is selected, press return. The note is added to the note field at the bottom of your agenda for that date.

Adding a daily note to another person's agenda

In the event you wish to place a note for another person or group (for example, to notify your manager of a vacation day directly on his/her agenda), follow the directions above for creating the note. After the date is selected, enter the name of the first person with whom you wish to share the note into the box below the words People/Resources, and click the Green Check mark button. If using the First and Last name doesn't work, try using just the last name. You can repeat this process for as many people as you like to see the note. As you use the Participants box to find each one, they will appear in the list of people below.

If you find that you've added someone to the list who should not be included, simply click on their name and click the Delete button.

Click the OK button when you are finished, and the people you have listed will have the note appear on their agendas.

Your options should be set to send e-mail to invitees, so you will next see a dialog box asking if you'd like to do so. In the email, detail your request specifics (dates, length of outage and reason for outage). Send the email by clicking OK.
