Configuring And Logging Into The Oracle Calendar Client 9.x

1. First, open your Oracle Calendar client software by clicking on Start, Programs, then Oracle Calendar 9.0.4 or click the icon on your desktop.
2. You will see a Sign-In window, click Other.

   

3. Click on New.

   

4. Next to Connection Name type calendar.umd.edu. Next to Server type calendar.umd.edu, then click Lookup. Click OK.

   

5. Select calendar.umd.edu then click OK

   

6. Click the drop down arrow next to Connect to and select calendar.umd.edu.

   

   1. Type in your Directory ID in the User Name box. If you don't know your ID and/or password, go to www.directory.umd.edu
   2. Type your Directory password in the Password box.
   3. Click on Sign-in
7. After signing in, this box will appear. This is asking if you would like to have an off-line Agenda. Click No

   

8. You are now ready to use your Oracle Calendar.
