Configuring the Oracle Calendar Client Version 10.x for Windows

To configure the Oracle Calendar Client software to use the University's calendar server:

1. Start the application via the icon under:
       Start menu → All Programs → Oracle Calendar → Oracle Calendar
   
   
2. The first time the program is started it will need to be configured to use the campus Oracle Calendar server. Click Other to open the Connection Manager.

   

3. Click New.

   

4. In the Connection Name field type UMD Calendar and in the Server field type calendar.umd.edu then click Lookup. After the information has been filled in, click OK.

   

5. Single-click UMD Calendar then click Make Default. Click OK to return to the login window.
6. Fill in your Directory ID and password and click Sign-in.
   

The calendar program will ask if you would like to have an offline agenda, it is suggested you choose No.

Your Agenda and In-tray will appear; you are now ready to use your Oracle Calendar.
