Managing Your E-mail Account

The University of Maryland, Office of Information Technology (OIT), offers a universal e-mail system to campus faculty, staff, and students. The e-mail system is titled Mail@umd and each account holder has varying disk space or quota. Faculty and staff account holders each have a default of 200 megabytes; students have 100 megabytes. To see if you qualify for more space, access the Mail@umd Additional Space Request. OIT strongly suggests that customers do everything within their ability to streamline their accounts by archiving or deleting mail.
