Changing Outlook 2000 SMTP server settings

1. Open Outlook 2000. From the menu bar, choose Tools and then from the Tools menu choose Accounts.

   

2. In the Internet Accounts window that appears, you will see 3 tabs near the top of the window. Click on the tab labeled Mail.

   

3. You will see your email account(s) listed.  Click once on the first UMCP account (WAM or Glue) listed so that it is highlighted, and then click the Properties button on the right side of the window. 

   

4. A new window will appear.  Click on the tab labeled Servers.

   

5. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) box, type in the appropriate outgoing mail server for your ISP.

   

6. Click OK. You will return to the Internet Accounts window. Click strong to finish.
