  16. Outlook 2007 is configured by default to NOT display any image files in the e-mail messages you receive. Instead of displaying the image, Outlook displays the following message: Right-click here to download pictures. To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented automatic download of this picture from the Internet. You can right-click on any of these messages in the e-mail to then view the images.

NOTE: If you do not like this setting, you can change it by clicking on Tools on the Outlook menu bar, then choosing Trust Center. In the Trust Center window, select Automatic Download from the left side menu. You also have the option to permit downloading pictures form safe sender. Read the explanation about why downloading images in e-mail messages compromises your security, but if you still want to change the setting, uncheck the box next to Don't download pictures automatically in the HTML e-mail message.

  17. To learn more about how to use and configure Outlook, click on Help on the Outlook menu bar and choose Microsoft Outlook Help or Microsoft Office Outlook Help (Outlook 2007).
